INTRODUCTION 14 The Court has referred Plaintiffs’ pending Motion for Default Judgment (ECF No. 16) to 15 the undersigned magistrate judge for a report and recommendation. The undersigned has 16 identified potential deficiencies in service of process and in Plaintiffs’ showing of damages, 17 including attorneys’ fees and costs. For the reasons discussed below, Plaintiffs are ORDERED 18 TO SHOW CAUSE why the Motion should not be denied in part, by filing a supplemental brief 19 and accompanying evidence no later than March 4, 2024.
