14 I. INTRODUCTION 15 Plaintiff Daronta T. Lewis, a state prisoner, filed a pro se civil rights action pursuant to 42 16 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging constitutional violations at Salinas Valley State Prison (“SVSP”), where 17 he was previously incarcerated. Lewis seeks injunctive relief and monetary damages. He paid the 18 full filing fee.
