11 COMPANY, Defendant. 12 13 BACKGROUND 14 Plaintiffs Fenix Partners Group, LLC and SperiWorks, LLC allege that defendants Slap 15 Gear Protective, LLC, Elizabeth Truong (Slap Gear’s officer/principal), and T&T Global Logistics 16 Services and Trading Joint Stock Company breached contractual obligations to deliver boxes of 17 nitrile gloves during the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2020, Fenix Partners (based in Texas) 18 contacted Slap Gear (based in California) requesting that Slap Gear deliver 660,000 boxes of 19 nitrile gloves for Fenix Partners’ customer SperiWorks (also based in Texas).
