Defendants. 16 I. BACKGROUND Plaintiff Shawarma Stackz LLC (“SSL”) filed the instant action on July 14, 2021. (Compl., ECF No. 1.) On July 26, 2021, counsel for Defendants, Jesse Gessin, emailed Plaintiff’s counsel, Jake Freed, requesting an extension of time to respond to the Complaint. (ECF No. 5-3.) On July 27, 2021, Freed replied, stating in relevant part: Maybe we should find time to talk about potential paths to resolution here?
