19 This is a qui tam action alleging false Medicare and Medi-Cal claims. ECF No. 1. 20 Relator Randy Lazar (“Realtor”) brought the complaint on behalf of the United States 21 and State of California pursuant to 31 U.S.C. § 3720(b)(2) and Cal. Gov’t Code § 12650. 22 Id. Defendants are S.M.R.T., LLC, a California limited liability company (“S.M.R.T.”) 23 and Cornelius McKay, S.M.R.T.’s registered agent and owner, (collectively, 24 “Defendants”).
