17 Plaintiff James Mickelson brings this action against Defendant City of Encinitas for violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). (Compl., ECF No. 1) On January 20, 2023, the parties filed a Joint Motion for approval of an FLSA Settlement Agreement (“Settlement” or “Settlement Agreement”). (Mot., ECF No. 25.) The Court finds this motion suitable for determination on the papers submitted without oral argument. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 78(b); CivLR 7.1(d)(1).
