On June 5, 2020, Plaintiff Keith Sekerke, currently proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis, filed this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. See Dkt. 1 (“Compl.”). In his complaint, Sekerke claims that Lieutenant Adam Arkwright violated his constitutional right to humane conditions of confinement while he was housed at the San Diego County Jail (“SDCJ”). Id. On March 9, 2023, Lieutenant Arkwright filed a motion 25 26 27 28 for summary judgment. Def.’s Mot. Summ. J., Dkt. 75. For the reasons discussed below, the Court grants Defendant’s motion for summary judgment. I.
