[ECF No. 20] 16 On April 4, 2022, Petitioner, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 and on April 19, 2022, paid the $5.00 filing fee. (ECF Nos. 1-2.) After the Court granted Petitioner several extensions of time to file an amended petition (see ECF Nos. 8, 10, 14), but Petitioner did not do so, on January 23, 2024, the Court directed the Clerk to enter a final judgment of dismissal without prejudice and close the case, which the Clerk did on that same day.
